The design and financing go hand in hand. Your homebuilder and financial institution will need your finalized plan to estimate the cost of your home. This is where a common mistake is made. Take the time and effort to secure a good design that will carry the project through without costly delays. Preston Homes of Texas, as your partner, will take you step by step to insure nothing is missed and arrive at a place where your financial institution can review your vision and approve your financing.
Upon contracting and financing approval, Preston Homes of Texas will proceed with permitting and begin construction.
During the construction process many inspections will occur. If the community where your home is being built does not require inspections we will have an independent inspection company provide this service. This is good practice and should provide validation to you that your project is being built to the highest quality and standards. Any time a builder does not allow independent inspections, this should raise a red flag. In addition to these inspections, Preston Homes of Texas will provide a 600-point inspection that carries over the entire project. Throughout your project, you will be involved in various meetings and updates.
Normal construction time can vary but is usually complete within 4-6 months depending on the project size. Upon completion and closing at your request we will provide a home demonstration and explain and review the warranties.
